One day on my way to work, I stopped at an elderly widow client’s house just to check up on her. As I got out of the car a yellow monarch butterfly fluttered by, and it got me thinking. How many wealth managers in the financial industry do what we do? Many wealth managers reach out to clients because they have to, or because they are getting paid to service an account, but who stops by a client's house to check on them with no other ulterior motive? In an industry of bees harvesting what they can from the flower to make honey, we want to be the monarch butterfly who stops by and services the flowers without the motive of self promotion.
